The Holding Atelier offers hands-on workshops in ceramics, floral design, and creative craft.

Our programming is designed for schools, senior living communities, cultural institutions, and private organizations seeking meaningful, hands-on creative experiences.

Participants engage directly with the process of making—working with clay, flowers, and natural materials to create objects that are both functional and expressive.

Workshop Options

Floral Composition Workshop

Learn to compose a balanced floral arrangement using seasonal stems, texture, and natural movement.

Ceramic Glaze & Surface Workshop

Explore glaze application and surface finish to bring depth, tone, and character to a ceramic form.

2-Week Creative Workshop: Glaze & Floral Design

Participants glaze a ceramic vase in the first session and return the following week to create a floral arrangement in their finished vessel.

Workshops may be customized to suit the needs of each organization, with sessions designed for up to 15 participants and all materials provided. Optional additions may include extended session time, additional participants, custom themes, or travel outside of the Philadelphia area.

We are also happy to design programs around seasonal topics such as spring florals, harvest arrangements, or special community events.
